Insane Magic at The Blackpool Magic Convention 2025

This past weekend was something truly special. Alongside my good mates and fellow performers Cameron and Luke from The Insane Magic Show, I had the honour of performing and lecturing at the 2025 Blackpool Magic Convention.

This is the biggest magic convention in the world, held at the iconic Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Attended by over 5,000 magicians from all over the globe.

After more than 10 years of attending and sitting in the audience, I finally got to take the stage.

Insane Magic performed the late-night show on the Saturday. The room was absolutely packed and the audience was buzzing. Myself and Luke even did a 1.5 hour, back-to-back DJ set before the show to get the crowd in the mood.

Our lecture the following day — held in one of the biggest venues at the convention — was just as exciting. We broke down a few our routines, shared our creative process, and shared some valuable information about the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Huge thanks to everyone who attended and picked up a copy of our lecture notes.

A big shoutout to Cameron and Luke — insanely talented, and both so creative in their own ways. We’ve come a long way together, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved.
