The Importance of Eating Healthy

After a very very busy weekend , and also (Birthday week) I am writing this post whilst eating some pasta, and enjoying some fresh orange juice.

It has brought me to think about the type of diet I have as a magician – This may sound strange but stay with me, we will get to the point!

As I perform at all different times of the day, at all different venues, which are situated in all different places in the country, it means that I don’t have my 3 meals a day at the same time every day (Or even miss them out),along with my 5 portions of fruit and veg. a day (This rarely happens anyway!)

But it has made me have a look at my diet the past week, as I have been eating take-aways every day/night and drinking lots of energy drinks – which can’t be good for my health.

I have found that I am a lot more tired and lazy, and not ‘on the ball’, as I usually am.

Does anyone else have any problems with their diet or miss out meals when very busy with something, e.g. work, university, studying etc?
